Overview
Foundry Crane is also called Ladle Crane, it is large casting lifting equipment on lifting and dumping steel ladle in foundry workshop, frequently used in high temperature, high dust and related harsh conditions, with high safety performance and high working-level, generally divided into dual-beam dual-track, four-beam four-track or four-beam six-rail structures.
Double girder double track single trolley form is generally used for small-tonnage foundry crane under 160 tons, consists of trolley, bridge, crane and trolley traveling mechanism and electric control system, etc.
Four-beam four-track trolley is generally used for medium and large tonnage foundry crane, 100 to 320 tons. Consists of main trolley, auxiliary trolley, crane traveling mechanism, bridge and electric control system.
Four-beam six-track double trolley is generally used for large-tonnage foundry crane-lifting more than 320 tons; its structure is similar with four-beam four-track double girder trolley. The main purpose is to solve the problem of large pressure of the main trolley wheel to improve the stress state of the main trolley frame.

Bridge
Dual-beam dual-track bridge mainly consists of the main beam, side beams, electrical room, cabin, platforms, ladders, railings and other components.
Bridge adopt rail box type structure, the main webs of main beam and the upper cover use of "T" type steel structure to connect, the heat radiating surface set with insulation board. Its structure has good stiffness, strength and stability, with strong resistance performance to fatigue damage. With large space inside the main beam, good sealing, easy for dust protection, easy for installation and maintenance of crane traveling mechanism and electronic control device.
End beams adopt box-type structure, entire processing, easy to transport.
Four-beam four-track bridge and four-beam six-track bridge, similar to the structure. Four-beam six-track bridge is designed mainly to solve the problem of too large wheel pressure of the main trolley. Both of their aux. main beams adopt track box girder, the heat radiating surface under the bridge set with insulation board. They have two more aux. Main beams than dual-beam dual-track bridge, the rest are the same with the dual-beam dual-track bridge.

Hoisting Mechanism
Trolley consists of main lifting mechanism, aux. mechanism, trolley mechanism and trolley frame.
Main lifting mechanism adopts two drives and four wire ropes winding.
Each drive of the two drives are installed with two brakes, safety factor of each brake is not less than 1.1 times, in order to ensure the absolute safety of lifting.
Independence between the four wire ropes, when there is one rope break or the diagonally two ropes break; it still can put the object on the ground.
Main lifting mechanism used for the completion of molten metal lifting work. Aux. hoisting mechanism use single drive for the completion of pouring molten metal or lifting small object.
Trolley Traveling Mechanism
Trolley frame is rigid frame structure made of integral processing, with good rigidity and strength to ensure the smooth operation of lifting mechanism and traveling mechanism.

Trolley is divided into the main trolley and aux. trolley. Which both consist of hoisting mechanism, trolley traveling mechanism and trolley frame. Main trolley traveling on the tracks of the two main beams, while the aux. trolley traveling on the tracks of the two aux. beams, aux. trolley can pass bellow the main trolley.
Main trolley lifting mechanism adopts the sane solution of the dual-beam dual-track. However, according to different rated lifting capacity, the hoisting mechanism must be double geared, overall large type geared or large special geared with higher safety. To ensure the absolute safety of lifting molten steel ladle.
Different from dual-beam dual-track is the aux. trolley of the four-beam four-track trolley, the lifting mechanism and traveling mechanism both adopt single driving, which is an independent trolley mechanism.
Main trolley is for the completion of the molten metal lifting work; aux. trolley is for the completion of pouring molten metal or lifting small object work.
Trolley traveling mechanism adopts centralized driving structure, consists of motor, reducer, brake and wheel device. Two active wheel sets are centralized driven by the driving device.

Gantry Spreader
Foundry Crane main hook is the gantry (gantry type) spreader with two board hooks, consists of movable pulley block, cross beam, board hook, thermal insulation and other components. Used for lifting liquid steel ladle or liquid iron container. Aux. hook is forging hook or board hook, for pouring molten steel, molten iron or other object lifting.
Crane traveling mechanisms of three structural types Foundry Crane, which both use four corners driving, four drive systems are arranged and mounted symmetrically on the four corners of the bridge. Electrical System
