Try to choose the reducer close to ideal reduction ratio:
Reduction ratio = Servo motor revolving speed / gearbox output shaft speed.
Torque calculation:
For the life of reducer, the torque calculation is very important; you need pay attention to the maximum torque value (TP) of acceleration whether exceed the reducer maximum load torque or not.
Applicable power generally is the applicable power of servo models, the reducer with high applicability, working coefficient can be maintained at 1.2 or  more, while in the selection can also be determined by your needs.
There are two main points:
1.The selection of the servo motor output shaft diameter must not exceed the maximum use diameter of the shaft on the form;
2. If calculated by the torque, revolving speed can meet the normal running, but in the full output of servo, there are not enough, you can set drive to the motor side for current limiting control, or in the mechanical shaft with torque protection, which is very necessary.
General use reducer selection includes proposed initial conditions, select the type, and determine the specifications, etc.
In contrast, selection type is relatively simple, while providing accurate reducer working conditions, master reducer design, manufacture and use features are the key to the correct and reasonable choice of general reducer specification. Specifications choose should meet conditions of strength, thermal equilibrium, the shaft extension parts bear radial load and others.
